Really?
ROH is the number two fed in the country and TNA is number 3?
REALLY!!?
A small percentage of the casual wrestling fan has heard of TNA, and not even half that many have heard of ROH.
Its these types of comments that show how truly ignorant "smart" marks are.
This comment is even dumber than the one you made about tna outdrawing roh but you being totally sure the wrestling on the ROH show was much more entertaining.
Just because a match features 35 head drops for two counts doesnt mean its a five star match.
To quote one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport, kurt angle
"Go look at shawn and I's match from wrestlemania, we worked a headlock for 12 mins, thats wrestling."

Sorry to burst your bubble, but some people put TNA at the fifth rung of the ladder.

"Also, ROH owner Cary Silken recently was involved in talks with one person and has sent out feelers to another about selling ROH. However, both parties considered the asking price way too high for what is basically, what was described to us, as a "glorified indy promotion." One person with knowledge of the talks, on the condition of anonymity, said "when push comes to shove, Cary loves ROH too much to really go through with any type of sale."

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the additions of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson alone will cost a minimum of $4 million in 2010. Also, TNA ran a bunch of shows on Monday night that some people may have saw that also cost a ton of money. Oh, and the last few PPV's averaged around 8000 buys.
Some people call TNA a glorified indy fed too.

Millions of people, Millions, watch TNA every thursday on Spike tv, it is the channels highest rated show. Almost none of those people have any idea what ROH is.
ROH had a ppv that only drew 19 buys in Canada and another that dress less than 100 buys on dish network.
No ROH dvd is the history of the company has sold more than 10,000 copies
Youre out of your mind and unquestionably wrong in this one steve.

I don't think there's any question that ROH is better when it comes to wrestling. TNA is more of a household name, but also look at it from the perspective of somebody who loves to wrestle. Delirious can stay in ROH and have some control over his matches, some freedom, or go to TNA and have 2 minutes matches on TV. Granted the pay may be better, but to some people the love is way more important than money. That's why Danielson never wanted to leave ROH because it was wrestling freedom to him. He valued that more than a paycheck or TV time. I won't disagree that to a casual fan TNA is the number 2, but honestly since when are we giving casual fans credit for being educated?
