Kids are out of school, the weather is better and people are more active in general.

in the st louis area there are many free concerts .also as you pointed out the weather is better people prefer to spend a nice sunny day tubing or doing activities that allow the outdoors 2 be enjoyed. in my opinion alot of people also take vacation and so do i to see my family out of state.therefore we choose not to run as frequently just my opinion and personal choice.
