As everyone knows by now the NWA recently broke ties with TNA, stripping Christian Cage of the NWA World Championship and announcing a tournament to be held all over the country for the next few weeks to determine who would take the vacated title. Well it is with great pleasure for CSW Management to announce that one of the three first round matches taking place June 2nd will happen at our Thayer, MO show and will feature Aaron Aguilera taking on “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce. Thayer Elementary School 365 E. Walnut Thayer, Mo. www.cswwrestling.com

That is awesome
i love all this title revival sh*t becasue lets face it, alls it was was the TNA heavyweight title before. and i heard griping about theres only like 4 names in the whole lot, but its keeping with the regional feel. i hated it at first too, but its got all the countries that are on the belt coverd. USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, and Aulstrailia. They even got Ireland and Switezerland, there reclaiming the meaning of WORLD title.
too bad its in Bumf**k Thayer Missouri.
the st louis area needs an nwa affiliate

And let me guess you're thinking the LWA?

See Kris thats why no one likes you.
All you do is start crap. If you had any sense you would know that CSW is a STL NWA affiliate.
Other than CSW I think LWA would be the next best choice. They have the best roster and best production so why not.
I think it is interesting you are on a card with some LWA guys this weekend I wonder what they will think of you talking crap and taking cheap shots all the time

And let me guess you're thinking the LWA? why you got to be like that i cant see lwa being under nwa banner, but i wouldnt mind it. i love the territory system. but i was hopin that the new CSW(or it might be the same csw, just running over here, i really dont know), i figured they'd be running in a place id get to see. i really want to see one of the mathes and out of the first round matchups so far, pearce vs jesus looks most appealing. but im sure were gonna start to be hearing some of these no names from now on after this my prdiction would be albright vs danielson in the final, and i'd guess albright would win, just becasue i think there going in a new direction with newer people, but i dont think they'll give one of them no names the title. but hey justin, if they start to run the territories again, were in line for a dingo and strider title shot.

Should be awesome, as anything with the Scrap Daddy is. I was kinda hoping that the whole tournament would be almost all regional guys, but since they have to sell DVDs, the names are crucial. I mean, Bryan Danielson is a phenomenal wrestler, but he hasn't done as much to build the NWA back as the guys like Dingo or Strider or any other guys from other regions. Everything for him is to build Bryan Danielson. I don't know. So, does anyone want to take me to this show?

This is the first CSW Missouri event, CSW just happened to find a group in need of a fundraiser and that is why this show is taking place in Southern Missouri. Don't be surprised if in the future CSW runs shows in the STL area; on either the Missouri or the Illinois side. And to any area wrestlers (which would include southern and Central Illinois Talent), when CSW does run this area, feel free to come by with a tape and some promo materials to show them you are interested in wrestling. I have heard the CSW roster could always use talented wrestlers.

No he hasn't but if you don't have Danielson in this tournament then it really brings down the cred of it. I mean come on he is one of the, if not the, best indy guys working today.

Uhmm...Regis....Taker mentioned it would be nice if STL had an NWA affiliate. I figured he would say LWA since I am pretty sure he is one of there followers. As far as the LWA goes I have NO problem with anyone in their roster, or with their product. But out of the true STL area feds if I had to pick ONE to be an NWA affiliate it would be GCW.

As Greenpeace mentioned above...St. Louis does have an NWA affiliate. It is Central States Wrestling (MO). And also to reiterate Greenpeace, CSW just happened to have been contacted for a fundraiser in Thayer, MO for their first show so unfortunately a St. Louis location for the first show was put on hold to help out the basketball team in Thayer. There will be NWA-CSW shows in the St. Louis area very soon.
