WOW, well I made it to about the 5:30 mark, not sure how long I would have made it if the entrances were shorter.

I didn't see anything particularly WRONG with the match, other than the botched tripup spot near the end(which Curtis acknowledged ahead of time). The fans were into it.

Granted, anyone doing the People's Elbow in 2010 should be interrupted solely on principle...

I didn't see anything particularly WRONG with the match, other than the botched tripup spot near the end(which Curtis acknowledged ahead of time). The fans were into it. I didn't make it all the way through but outside of the entrance the Valets were pretty worthless, they did little to help tell the story from what I was able to sit through. Inside the ring, you both need to realize your limits and then develop some form of psychology to your work. Wylde tries (and fails) to clothesline Blaze over the top rope, why? because the ropes are as tall as Wylde. So understand your physical limitations and don't do a spot if you can't make it work or look good. Your job is to make this look believable and that spot looked horrid. Blaze's Flair flip in the corner was unnecessary and out of place, another case of an Indy Wrestler doing something because he can not because it fit or worked. There are far more issues with this match that just make both guys look bad, inexperienced starting with the tie-ups which are terrible.

Anybody that tries to imitate wrestlers gimmicks or signature moves should be taken out back and be given 10 chair shots to the head.

Thanks for the comments. Good and Bad.
Agreed. The 5 Knuckle Shuffle fits that mold too. Though, that doesn't stop me from trying... I'm persistant.
Then...
See... 3 years ago, I would have ripped into you for being so brazen as to watch 1/3 of the match, and then speaking on it as if you had some sort of knowledge in the subject matter.
Not today. You see I've had my message board battles. I'm sure Crimefighter recalls, it was me against the world on the Chicago Message Board. They hated my matches, but couldn't deny that I usually got one of, if not thee, loudest reactions on any shows I was on.
That said, I've grown to realize it's just not that important. Yes. The web is a powerful tool to utilize, but the wrestling message boards and the internet community as a whole comprise maybe 1% of the Wrestling fan community. (Matt Hardy could only compile 15000 signatures on his petition to get re-signed, and that whole situation had the web "Abuzz").
Fact is, toddmark, I'm not for you, and that's ok. I do what I do for the casual wrestling fan that wants to come and suspend disbelief long enough to have an enjoyable experience, not the small, albeit vocal, society that chooses to not have an enjoyable time for the express purpose to go home and bash something. The cool thing is, those people are the other 99%!
I'll leave you with two quotes, and then not see this board for days...
Kevin Smith(The Director, not the Actor who played Ares God of War in Xena): "Why should I worry about what's being said on a message board when I could be using that energy to be doing more productive things... Like smoking pot, and trying to **** my wife in the ass?"
One worker to another in the locker room during my match on Mar. 27th: Worker 1 "What the hell!? He's doing the John Cena." Worker 2 "Yeah, but do you hear those people?" Worker 1 "But he's doing the John CENA!?" Worker 2 "YEAH, but do you HEAR those PEOPLE!?"
All I'm saying... Now off to find my Wife or my Bowl!
Hope everyone had a great easter!
