Don’t miss out on this wonderful pro wrestling training center. We, by that we mean all of us in Central Illinois, have been giving this opportunity to show that as a region we do want to get better and improve the quality of wrestling in this region. This area has needed this training center for so long. We hope that everyone on the Central Illinois scene chooses to continue to improve there ring performances and takes advantage of this opportunity.

The NBS Pro Wrestling Training Center is located in The SkyWalker International Sports Complex, 400 E. Eldorado Decatur, IL 62521. This training center is not affiliated with any promotion or origination. It is open to everyone and is only $10 a month to all current wrestlers. That $10 is used for ring repairs and training equipment. Training will be mainly conducted by Guy Smith and every so often Bear St. Pierre. Guy Smith has spent time training with Harly Race and together they have over 20 years of experience in the wrestling business. These training sessions are no joke. Before you can get any ring time, you must complete several conditioning exercises. Everyone involved with this is volunteering there time and simply will not waist any time with people who don’t want to take there conditioning and training seriously.

Please feel free to drop us a message letting us know if you a interested and we’ll give you a one day pass to try out the training. We feel once you participate in a training session you’ll realize this is the perfect place for you and to improve your wrestling skills. The Training Center is located in the middle of Decatur and Central Illinois. It is only a hop, skip and a jump from all surrounding towns. May we suggest car pooling with other wrestlers to save on gas money and not putting several miles on one car. Do you have the athletic ability and the desire to become a professional wrestler? Do you want to learn wrestling techniques from one of the greatest wrestlers to ever enter the ring? If so, Harley Race's Wrestling Academy may be the starting point for your career in professional wrestling.

Under the watchful eyes of 8 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, you will receive hands-on training in what it takes to succeed in the world of professional wrestling. The Harley Race Academy lab facilities are a regulation wrestling ring. Up to 75% of your time will be spent in the ring.

Course Programs

--Enrollment in this program begins on the 1st day of every month. This 500 hour course teaches decorum, showmanship, wrestling technique, business aspects of wrestling, self-promotion and cardio fitness. Completion of the Academy is based on competence, as judged by the WLW Board of Directors.

Professional Wrestling Referee-- Enrollment in this 60 contact hour program is very limited. Please check with the academy regarding dates and availability. The tuition for this program is $1000.

The Facilities

The Harley Race Academy of the WLW is located at 119 S. Maple. All classes are taught at this facility. Our headquarters includes a full size ring, modern weight lifting equipment, a video library and countless other resources for up and coming professional wrestlers.

The Agreement

By signing the agreement contained in this booklet, you agree to submit information and background materials sufficient to evaluate your candidacy for participation in the Harley Race Academy. A physical fitness test will be required prior to admission. Upon completing the enclosed form, submit a $50 non-refundable application fee. The Academy will set a date for your physical try-out.

The tuition for the Wrestling Academy varies based on physique and ability. ! Generally, a fee of $3,000 will cover tuition for the 24 week class. Up to 300 hours may be tested out based on progress. A fee reduction will only be arranged if the student is prepared to wrestle professionally for the WLW, with no additional instruction. The tuition is not based on actual contact hours, but on the duration of the 24 week class.

No enrollment fee is due prior to the commencement of class sessions on the 1st day of the month following the student's admission.

Refunds are available if the student discontinues instruction in the first two weeks of class at a rate of 90% for one week and 75% for two weeks. After the second week, all tuition is due and payable. Payment options are available. Refunds will be made within 30 days of discontinuation of instruction.

The Faculty of the Harley Race Academy retain the right to discontinue the enrollment of students for any reason. A hearing before the Board of D! irectors may be request. The Board's decision is final. If the student is outside the refund period when studies are discontinued, no refund is due.

The ASWA Pro Wrestling Training Center is currently located in Mansfield, OH. We have been training men & women in the pro wrestling business for over 20 years and we are one of the longest running schools in the US today. Over the past 20 years the ASWA training center has trained men and women from all over the US, Canada, Mexico and even overseas to become wrestlers, referees, managers, valets & even ring announcers. We were included in the publication, "Guide to Pro Wrestling Schools", which was co-written by Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer) and have been mentioned in several other wrestling publications in the past. Between the two head trainers, there are over 40 years of pro wrestling experience that operate the training facility. Some former students have done work for the WWE, WCW, ECW & TNA. Many of our students have went on and obtained success by traveling the independent wrestling circuits all over the USA and overseas.

The ASWA training center offers free tryouts with no obligations to give you an idea of what pro wrestling is all about. If you decide to start the training program, the ASWA offers various payment methods and price brackets for the training. Keep in mind that there is unlimited training at our school. The ASWA Training Center offers unlimited training because some students may take longer than others to learn what they need to know. Some people may be ready for their first match in 6 months, others may take as long as a year before they are ready. Another plus to our unlimited membership is the fact that you can always come back to the training center anytime you want, even after you are fully trained, so that you can work on and develop new moves or simply just to keep in good ring shape. So, in a way, it's kind of like a lifetime membership. Most schools don't offer that kind of deal. We do offer group discounts if there is a group of 2 or more people that start together at the school. And as far as age requirements, we recommend a minimum age of 18. There are occasions when we have trained students at 16-17 years old with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The ASWA training center also offers special rates for those who are currently in the wrestling business that feel like they want or need further training or a place to work out in the ring with experienced professionals.

Pro Wrestling Blitz offers training to adults and teens with written parental consent. We will go no younger then 16 years old though no matter what type of parental consent is given.

Requirements:
1)You must be in good physical condition.
2)You must pay tuitions on time every month
3)You must be dedicated to your craft.
4)If a Minor you MUST have parental written consent to attend.

We offer 4 different courses of instruction:

Professional Wrestler: A multi trained athlete. A Pro Wrestler learns all the holds and moves. The ins and outs of the sport. How to have a match and not hurt your opponent, and how to defend yourself in a match with someone who might be trying to hurt you.

Manager: A manager is the key player in wrestling. The brains behind the muscles. He/she looks for title shots for his/her wrestler, as well as acts as the mouth piece. A manager is trained in the ring. Everyone loves the manager who gets a good toss over the top rope now and then.

Referee: The referee has one of the most important jobs in the sport. He/she must be fair and impartial. Know how to call the match and when to stop it. He/she will act fast in an injury and get help for the wrestler. A referee is also trained in the ring.

Valet : The valet in wrestling is kind of the card girl of boxing. Everyone loves to see her, and she always shares a smile. The valet dresses up the show with style and class. The valet is also train in the ring to defend her self.

The camp offers out of the classroom training. You will perform on live wrestling events in front of a real crowd to gain your experience, while beginning the road to establishing your name and character in the spotlight. Pro Wrestling Blitz is running almost 90 shows this year alone you will have ample opportunity to wrestle and get paid if you prove you are ready. Outside of BLITZ itself we currently have talent trades with two other companies running out of Minn and NJ respectively.





Schedule:

Starting Saturday March 6th 2010 -

Training will be held before each and every Pro Wrestling Blitz show. As it stands this is roughly 90 training sessions this year and we look to be adding another 10 shows to this schedule. This is more then once a week offered by some.

The dedication that was brought up in requirements comes into play here. As Pro Wrestling Blitz will constantly be on the road we will not have a static training center. Where ever the show is thats where training is. The reason for this is several fold;

1) It will prove you are dedicated to your wrestling career
2) You will learn on the road etiquette as we encourage trainees to ride with veterans not alone.
3) This saves on tuition as we are NOT charging you to simply pay our rent.

The Cities we will be working in as of now are; Joliet, IL, Granite City, IL, Wisconsin Dells, WI and Des Moines, IA.

Those dedicated to the craft will find their way onto these shows MUCH quicker then those who ONLY attend when we are in their hometown.


At the BLITZ Training Center you will learn all the tools needed to enter into the sport. BLITZ will share their experiences with you. You will learn the holds and moves that the pros do. Additionally, you will be training in front of the camera (including TV interviewing) and the psychology behind wrestling.

Other areas of training will include; teaching you how to present yourself as a professional in and out of the ring. We will offer a session on being a self employed athlete and how to manage, market and promote yourself.

Who?
Who are you training with? You will be training directly under Prince Mustafa Ali. Ali has over 8 years of professional wrestling experience and has traveled all over North America and internationally to perform. What?
What are you signing up for? You are signing up for a six month training course in which you will learn every single detail about the world of professional wrestling: how to wrestle, character development, interviews and promos, psychology of wrestling, rules and etiquette, conditioning and so much more.

Where
Where will I be training. You will be training in DREAMWAVE Wrestling ring. This is the same ring today's stars of DREAMWAVE wrestling compete in. Also, you'll be training in the same building that DREAMWAVE shows are held in! That's right, the training school will take place at the Knights of Columbus hall at 209 Gooding Street in LaSalle, IL.

When?
When does the school start and when are the classes going to be held? The first day of school will be Tuesday, November 9th, 2010. The class will start at 7pm sharp and will end at 9pm. Classes will take place EVERY Tuesday at 7pm. There will also be 1 hour practices the day of DREAMWAVE wrestling events in which you will get to train with some of DREAMWAVE wrestling's current stars (once a month).

Please not that the down payment to join to the school will be November 2nd, 2010, a week before the first day of class.
