i assume you do this to help the "scene" but do you really think putting a match up like mvp vs riley helps it?? its an embarrassment to people in downstate that actually work hard to put forth a good name that you would put this in here for people to watch.
dont take this as a knock cf but when you title a thread stl matches of the week they should actually be good matches that make people want to see shows.
wrestling is a business and putting people like riley on your show is just not good business.

In truth I haven't watched it...but Conner shouldn't had uploaded it if it was THAT horrible.
Okay I just watched it...all I can conclude is Conner dumb mistakes cost himself the match.

watch the whole thing.. theres no story, no selling, no rhyme or reason for anything that happens.
you really should watch the matches you put in the MATCHES OF THE WEEK
if not just change the title to stl wrestling matches so people don't get their hopes up.

MVP is in the red/black.
Look I never said they were the BEST matches of the week! It was never that and it's been stated before that they aren't. I just pick four matches per week to showcase...note I don't do a matches of the month or matches of the year.

ok but when sportscenter does plays of the night/week they are the top plays.. or if your local news sports does a plays of the week.. its not just random plays its the best plays of the week. when the title says matches of the week then I and (i assume) most others figure that they are going to be some of the best matches in the area.
my point is by putting bad matches up it gives a bad impression to people that may not be familiar with central illinois or downstate illinois wrestling. say if i wanted to go watch a show in TN for example and this match was my example of what TN wrestling was then I wouldnt be going to a TN wrestling show.
Wrestling is already regarded as a joke to 99% of the population and in this day with the declining attendance to shows indy wrestling needs all the positive things it can get and nothing about crappy matches is going to help that.

I think you guys are giving a total pass to the promoter and booker because they deserve a big part of the blame.

I think you're all being way too hard on MVP and Conner. They're both good workers and have had better matches, yes, but I don't think saying that they are terrible or whatever is called for. Look at their past work and tell me that every match they've ever had is bad and I'll call you a liar because the fact of the matter is simply this, everyone has a bad match here and there, it's what happens, but to say that this is the worst match you've seen or whatever is completely ridiculous.
And to those of you that are going to try and say I'm bias because I know them both on a personal level, I call bs. I give credit where credit is due and I also give criticism when it's needed.
Here's an example:
Trip C has had decent matches, nobody can take that away from him, but he also has had matches that down right stunk up the place.
Kyle Rich has had amazing matches with very talented competitors, but he's also been involved in a few terrible matches with equally talented competitors.
And Gavin Alexander, well, he's Gavin Alexander. He's more miss than hit on his matches because he hasn't learned to compensate for his weight. That and he has stuck to the "hardcore" breed of wrestling for a long time that it seems like he's forgotten how to chain.
Just my two cents, take it as you will, ridicule me if you want, but I'm very straight forward and to the point.
