what does that mean?

It means they didn't pay attention to who they were raggin' on in the crowd. It means they didn't tell security or the promoter what they had planned going into the crowd. It means the man involved towards the end, being the father of a worker, actually two, should have known better.

It's not my job to pay attention to where everyones family is. I can handle my own and I told the promoter I was gonna give out the soap and tooth brushes. I dont live around there and im not up anyones a%% so I really dotn know those guys so much so absolutly none of that is my fault at all.
The security there has no value at all when I was a rook working security i was on top of things like that and If I were Kurt and that guy wouldve shoved me I wouldve taken him out. If that were me he wouldve been entering a world of pain. "Notice when I went out there he didnt do anything" I wish crimey wouldve kept the footage going when that teenage punk wanted a peice to.
The guy in the hat shouldent have shoved Kurt ansd Security should have been in the middle of that right away.

The soap and the toothbrushes were a great bit. The problem was the "retard" bit directed at developmentaly disabled people in the front row. That's not paying attention to family, that's paying attention to your audience. I agree security should have been right there and they weren't. Not your fault. Checking with the promoter is the right thing and he should have informed security. Obviously he didn't. Again, not your fault. And If you look, I said the guy in the hat should have known better being family, not that you should have known who was there.
This is why a pre-show meeting is important and everyone involved in the show needs to be there. That is a promoter flaw, not yours. But the point where you are ready to throw down and get "real" was a problem. Instead of giving them the satisfaction of getting under your skin you and Kurt should've returned to the ring and get on with the show.
There were also a few kids that were spit on, and that was something uncalled for as well. Crimey and his camera wouldn't have helped, I was there.
The whole match was spoiled for me because of the opening and the arguing that went on in back. The arguing that was heard all the way on the other side of the auditorium and had the audience looking at the curtain instead of the ring.

The soap and toothebrush thing was good. I agree with George on the "retard" comment. A LOT of developmentally disabled people attend indy events and even though they should expect the heels to "be heels" the word retard should not be used. You want them to come back to the next show.
Security was not on the ball. Whenever a wrestler leaves the ring and goes to the crowd, security needs to be there. The guy in the hat should know IT'S JUST A SHOW and was way out of line. I can understand the wrestlers being upset, but that is where their professionalism should show. Just get back to the match and either hope the promoter takes care of the situation or bring it to his attention after the match. All people working the show need to remember the SHOW and PROMOTION come first. If the other fans in the audience see that the workers can keep their cool and remain professional even when such incidents happen, they will respect and appreciate that and more than likely will return.

As a fan who was there, I was not happy at all with this bit. Not a problem with the soap/toothbrush thing, that's okay heel work by me. You just can't say "retard" anymore. What's sad is that those who have developmental issues KNOW the word "retard" is bad. You could see the faces change when they heard the word. Granted, it's professional wrestling, not Sunday School, but SLW to me is starting to cross over the line to where I don't know if I want to take my kid. Yes, you have to consider your target audience as a whole, but kids like wrestling, kids buy stuff...you don't want to shut them out.

One father walked up to me asking if I worked at SLW and then complained about the cursing and said they weren't coming back. So there are people who have been turned off.

You see I dont understand why "You cant Say words like Retard" anymore I feel that this country is too politically correct. This whole idea of people being civilized is ridiculous because we are nothing more than mammals with the posable thumb granted we have more rational than all other species on the planet but have we allowed ourselves as society to be castrated of our origional instincts by adopting this political correctness as we call it.
I think this whole "Dont say that and Dont wear this,Dont act that way attitude is just another way to Soften us up so They "The Powers That be can Control us" If I wanna say Retard I will.
Hey how about when you do your crowd work regardless if your heel or face shove you when your outside the ring and see what you do. What would you do. Damm Right Im gonna get real he violated my partner and in turn made me look bad as a "WRESTLER" Why would they take us seriously if the fans can push us around. You dident see him step to me.... DID YA?

By The Way the kids were using more curse words than in 5 minutes than the entire show put together.

Just so you know, it's "opposable" thumb, not posable. As far as political correctness, by it's own definition it's politically incorrect. As far as the word retard, you want to use it that's fine. In this case you directed it to those who would be considered retarded and that was wrong, plain and simple. Kids using curse words. Wow. That never happens, does it? And you are supposed to be an adult and professional, yet you are using kids behavior to justify yours, amazing.
As for your partner being violated, didn't he at first do the violating? So when he gets confronted he can't handle it and you jump in. Granted, there should have been security and there wasn't. As I said, not your fault. And no, he didn't step up to you because you weren't involved to start with. And then you start acting like a drugged up psycho wanting to throw down.
In this business of professional wrestling you are supposed to be entertainers, first and foremost. You are being a heel and take offense when someone show hate and dislike for you. Isn't that what a heel is supposed to do? Of course it is. So an over-exuberant fan pisses you off. Be professional and take your partner back into the ring and do your threatening from there and use the incident to assist in ENTERTAINING the crowd, that's the job.
You know, it was a piece of paper being shoved in Kurt's shirt. I did a show in Georgia once where a heel was actually cut with a knife by an old lady that hated him that much because he was putting the beat down on her favorite. That would be something to get upset at. Yet the worker did not take it personal. He took it as a sign he was getting over huge with that crowd, and he was. Now, security was right there and took care of things, and the worker got to the back. On the way he had some choice words that actually built on his heat. He was Ok and it was a smal cut on his arm not requiring stitches, but all he could talk about was how he got to that old lady. He didn't take it personal as it wasn't.
You and Kurt, on the other hand, did take it personal and let it affect you and the show as a whole. Remember the job. It's not about you. It's about the promotion you are working for and the audience you are performing in front of at any given time.
