man Evil, that would be awsome!! I loved going to MRW shows, and GCW shows. I didnt get to go to as many shows of GCW later on, but the first3 or 4 years of GCW was the best. Ive probably got like 10 or more cards that hung on the front doors of the shows. Id steal them after the show and have the guys sign it. Ive still got the 1st tournanamnt show where Ben was crowned champion. Ive got, man Im not even for sure what all ive got, but theres bunches that ive got somewhere in storage. I can still rmembenr being at the tv taping when Delerious first appeared. He peeked out from the back, and I had no clue what the f he was the first time, he came out with his head cocked to the side, and I was like that guy looks like a fish mask or something, little did I know what he would later become. Hell i can still rmember when he refed, I wont mention his real name, for respect. I can rmember Nikki debuting Ra Boy in the toxic bucket, and Mischiff by their side. Or the boy simply known as Matt, this little backyard wrestler who wouldnt have intimidated my sister. Or a great match with Mike Sharona vs. Sadie in Desoto, it always seemed like GCW put on spectacular shows in Desto for some reason. Man I can remember so many great things of the early days of GCW. I can remember when Johnny Greanpeace debuted (which I beleive was in Desoto) And Dazee Haze eventually showed up w him. I loved when he brought the plastic tree to the ring w him. Man I could go on and on

You are correct Toddmark. It was Dino, Jacques and Pete. I'm pretty sure I have that match somewhere. There is a documentary in the works that is going to span the history of MRW, GCW, and eventually Dynamo Pro. Anyone of the original guys that read this board and wish to be involved let me know. Evil: If I can be of any assistance, just let me know!

Evil , you just need to come out with like an anthology of the gcw collection, tv tapings, regular shows, adult fn only shows, everything! Im telling you, word of mouth would spread, youd sell alot of copies. It was such a stellar group of the time in st. louis wrestling at the turn of the Millinium! Everyone would enjoy watching a young matt sydall, a young Delerious, even reffing, and all the super guests, they constantly brought in. I think it should all be realased again.

That's fine and that would be cool and all but it is MY understanding that MRW Became GCW. I know for a fact that GCW did not become Dynamo Pro. Nor is Dynamo Pro a continuation of Gateway Championship Wrestling. That is just a farce and honestly Dingo was not Gateway Championship Wrestling Either. There were a lot of people who helped build that place which would include a lof of the workers there. If Jim does it right it will be good and if he does not it will be a one sided bias story through Evil's eyes and some of history will be blurred and erased.

Technically, MRW split into two groups and the other one didn't last very long.
When GCW went on hiatus in late 2006, they cut ties with Jim, Dingo, and the LWA crew...they had a brief comeback in 2007 but shut back down for good.
As for the final line...what "wrestling history" ISN'T slanted to some extent?

I swear, put some kind of gcw dvd together. They bring back great memories, great matches, and just a great aura in the air at them shows. One of the greatest was the otside show in Desoto. The first ever exploding barbed wire match! I remember the actual main event was forgetable, but there was several other matches that night was great. That was like a whole day full of matches, then a great GCW show that night. Man I miss going to those shows. I miss sweating profusely at the tv tapings during the summers in the GCW arena. Such a small place, but it was such a great atmosphere. Hang out for like 3 or 4 hours taping shows, and then hang out w the guys afterwards. I can even remember the Sandman wrestling at the arena. That was cool, Entersandman playing, him coming out, right after the ecw folded, cigerette, beer, and a tall ladder, pouring beer on people! Awsome, times.
